Diary Evaluation

Dear Diary, 14|10|09

Today me and Nika lost our game so we had to make a new one but it's much better and really cool we have now got flashing letters and it's a spelling game on the first level you have to spell cat.

Dear Diary, 15|10|09

Today me and nika made the second level in our choco muncher game on scratch the word to spell is farm..

Dear Diary, 16|10|09
Today we made a third level and on it you have to spell pants but instead of the letters flashing when the choco muncher has eaten them they are going to dissapear on all of the levels.

Today me and Nika just adjusted some things e.g. fixed problems and redid the lettering and levels.

Did you draw up a project plan?
Yes we did at the very start when we got the scratch assignment we did a plan for the assignment.
If so, did you stick with this plan?

Did you draw up a storyboard showing what ideas you had for each scene?
No we didn't do that.
Did you stay with this plan?

We did for most of the time.
What were the difficulties you had with: Animation? Audio? Dialogue? Drawings?
We had quite a few problems e.g. We lost all of our double period work and another time our project went crazy and lost all of the letters. We also had a little trouble with the recording of sounds.
What other difficulties did you have through the development?
Losing our work and things mucking up e.g. sound.
How did you overcome each one of them?
Sent Ms Beadle our project to see if she could help a little it and also just trying to fix it ourselfs.
Are there any parts of your animation which are not working?
At the moment the letters and costumes.
What were the fun parts of the project?
Recording ourselfs singing to certain songs that the levels represent e.g. old macdonald-one of the levels spells "farm".
Write a paragraph on your final project.

I think that me and Nikas project went pretty well apart from the letters disapearing and losing our work. We worked together well and shared this project evenly and had a little bit of Ms Beadles help with our problems. I think me and Nika have learnt a lot from this scratch assignment and now know how to use scratch properly. By Amy Faulconbrige 8DLL3
